LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR

Dear Triangle Enthusiasts,

I produced and directed "Inside The Bridgewater Triangle" as an independent project while enrolled at Fitchburg State College. At that time, I viewed the project as a “practice” documentary. When I watch the film today, I cannot help but notice its many flaws. The lighting is atrocious, the sound is unbalanced, the graphics are limited, and the cinematography is sub par. Yet, despite its shortcomings, "Inside The Bridgewater Triangle" has peaked the interest (and dare I say captured the imaginations) of countless people across New England. And as far as I can tell, the only logical reason for the film’s popularity has to be its unique subject matter.

Since the film’s “release” in 2003, I have received numerous requests for DVD copies of the documentary. Amazingly, people are even willing to pay for duplicates of the film. As an inexperienced college student, I never could have predicted that "Inside The Bridgewater Triangle" was destined to be a “cult” classic. Had I known this, I would have pursued the copyright for music and images to use in the production. Perhaps if I had done things right the first time, legions of paranormal/Bridgewater Triangle enthusiasts could pick up copies at their local Blockbusters. But unfortunately, I never saw the light, and "Inside The Bridgewater Triangle" remains chalk-full of copyrighted material. Nevertheless, those who contact me directly requesting the film usually receive a free copy in the mail.

The attention that "Inside The Bridgewater Triangle" has received is nothing short of remarkable. It is for this reason that I have decided to remake the film sometime in the not-so-distant future. Upon the completion of my current documentary, "The First Patriots", I will begin revising and expanding the original script for "Inside The Bridgewater Triangle". I also hope to collaborate with a number of paranormal enthusiasts that I have met since the film’s release in 2003. With help from people like Christopher Pittman, Christopher Balzano, John Horrigan, Derek Bartlett, Alan Alves, the Cape And Islands Paranormal Research Society, and Tim and Matt of Spooky Southcoast, the next version of "Inside The Bridgewater Triangle" will set a new standard for the paranormal documentary genre. I am confident that my growth as a filmmaker will ensure that the new film surpasses the original in quality. This time, I promise to do things right, so that everyone will be able to own a legitimate copy of a legitimate film.

Thank you all for your encouragement and support.

Sincerely,

Aaron Cadieux
